Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
• Health data you upload — your lab-report PDFs and the test values extracted from them (marker names, values, units, reference ranges), plus any family-member profiles you create.
• Usage data — sign-in events and last-active time, used to keep your account secure and understand product usage.

We use your data solely to provide the service: to parse your reports, show your results and trends, generate plain-language insights, and let you ask questions about your own data. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and private file storage hosted on Supabase, in a data centre in India (Mumbai region). Access is isolated per user — no other user can read your reports. Passwords are hashed with argon2, all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and database row-level security restricts access to the application itself.

• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude) — when you use AI-assisted parsing or the "Ask Vitals AI" chat, the relevant report text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
• Resend — to send account emails (e.g. password reset), if email is enabled.

We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

You can delete any report at any time from within the app — we remove both the parsed values and the original PDF. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at hello@buildmyvitals.com and we'll erase it.

Vitals is an informational tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician before acting on anything you see in the app.

Vitals is intended for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
